Today, the Haagse Jazz Club is a lively meeting place for lovers of (old-style) live jazz music in The Hague..
On atmospheric Sunday afternoons, music lovers, dancers, and visitors of all ages come together to enjoy swinging live performances in a warm and relaxed ambiance. The club focuses primarily on traditional jazz, swing, dixieland, and mainstream jazz, with live music and a convivial atmosphere at the heart of the experience.
What makes the Haagse Jazz Club special is the combination of musical quality, accessibility, and a social atmosphere. Visitors come not only for the music, but also for the social interaction, the dancing, and the familiar feeling of enjoying jazz together. Both regulars and new guests quickly feel at home within the open and welcoming club atmosphere.

The jazz season runs from October through April. During this period, every Sunday from 14:00 to 17:00 a live jazz afternoon takes place at the Leonardo Royal Hotel The Hague Promenade. At Easter, it deviates: the concert afternoon will then take place on Easter Monday. You can find more information about the location on the page. Location.
The Haagse Jazz Club believes that jazz is for everyone. We want to make live jazz music accessible to a broad and diverse audience — from loyal jazz lovers to curious visitors who might be discovering jazz for the first time.
Everyone is warmly welcome, regardless of origin, age, gender, identity, or sexual orientation. We also want to offer international guests, hotel visitors, tourists, and people visiting alone a warm and relaxed place where music brings people together.
With us, it’s all about atmosphere, meeting people, conviviality, and of course, great live music. Whether you’ve been a jazz fan for years or are just dropping in out of curiosity, you are welcome. Furthermore, the location is highly accessible for visitors using a wheelchair or walker.
During the afternoon concerts, a bar is available for drinks and snacks. In addition, the hotel features an excellent restaurant where visitors can enjoy lunch or dinner before or after the jazz afternoon. Guests of the Leonardo Royal Hotel Den Haag Promenade are also warmly welcome and have free admission to the afternoon concerts.
The Hague Jazz Club operates entirely thanks to the efforts of enthusiastic volunteers and continues to develop with respect for tradition and an eye to the future. Admission is €10 for guests. For members Admission to the The Hague Jazz Club is free.
In a time when many historic music clubs have disappeared, the Haagse Jazz Club remains a special place where old-style live jazz is still experienced, listened to, and danced to every week.
